CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot during a robbery in West Humboldt Park on Monday night, police said.
At 8:51 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 800 block of North Ridgeway Avenue when a man with a gun walked up to him and said he was robbing the victim, police said.
The robber took the man's phone and car keys and fired several shots, police said.
The man was hit in his foot and was taken to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
