CHICAGO — A 67-year-old woman was shot and wounded in Brighton Park on Monday, police said.
At 5:09 p.m., the woman was driving in the 4000 block of South Western Avenue when several people in a dark-colored SUV fired shots at a light-colored SUV, police said.
The woman was not in the light-colored SUV and was not the intended target, police said, but she was shot in her neck. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
The woman's condition was not immediately available.
No one wsa in custody.
