CHICAGO — Police are looking for help finding a car used in a fatal shooting outside an Austin church.
The car, thought to be a silver- or gray-colored Toyota Rav 4, was seen driving away from the scene of the shooting, police said.
At 11:19 a.m. Sunday, two men were in the 200 block of South Laramie Avenue when two people walked up to them and fired shots, police said.
A 34-year-old was hit multiple times throughout and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another man, 46, was hit multiple times and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Emmanuel Fleming, 34, of the 4400 block of South Wells, was pronounced dead at 11:45 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Michael Swift, 46, of the 4600 block of West Adams, was pronounced dead at 11:47 a.m.
The attackers drove away after the shooting, police said.
Anyone with information about the car was asked to call police at 911 or 312-744-8261. Police asked people to not try to approach or stop the car or people inside it.
