WICKER PARK — A Monday night meeting for business owners in Wicker Park and Bucktown will tackle crime prevention and building code awareness as it relates to window sign enforcement, it was announced late Friday.

Hosted by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, the Crime Prevention and Code Awareness Workshop is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday in the Wicker Park Field house, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

A spokeswoman for the Chamber said Monday's gathering will include speakers from the Chicago Police Department's Community Relations Division and the City's Department of Buildings.

"Topics will include crime prevention and building code enforcement awareness. Businesses have recently been getting ticketed for window signs, so it should be extremely helpful to come out and find out what is allowed by the city," the chamber spokeswoman said.
