CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death during a fight Saturday night in Douglas Park, police said.
At 9:09 p.m., the man was sitting in an alley near the 2600 block of West 15th Street when he got into an argument that turned into a fight, police said. A man took out a knife and stabbed the victim in his chest and neck.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The man was identified as Jesus Bernabe, of an uknown home address, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Bernabe was pronounced dead at 9:%5 p.m. and an autopsy showed he died from multiple sharp force injuries of the chest and neck in a homicide.
The attacker ran away, police said, and no one was in custody.
