CHICAGO — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday night in Chatham, police said.
At 8:27 p.m., the woman was trying to cross the street in the 8200 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when a car hit her, police said. The driver of the car drove away.
The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver was in a white, two-door car, police said. No one was in custody.
