CHICAGO — A 63-year-old man was killed and a 36-year-old woman was injured in an apartment fire in Norwood Park early Saturday morning, officials said.

The blaze started on the first floor of the building in the 6300 block of West Raven Avenue at 12:49 a.m., fire officials said.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Timothy Coughlin by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The woman was taken to Lutheran General Hospital with burn injuries.
