CHICAGO — A 44-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in Englewood early Saturday, police said.
At 4:24 a.m., officers were called to the 7000 block of South Emerald Avenue, police said. They found a woman who had been stabbed once in her chest and twice in her back.
Latikiya McNeeley, of the 400 block of South Stewart, was pronounced dead at 4:39 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed she died from multiple stab wounds in a homicide.
Police said they did not know what led up to McNeeley's stabbing.
No one was in custody.
