Drunken Drivers Targeted In The Gresham District Friday

CHICAGO — Officers will be looking for drunken drivers in the Gresham District this weekend.

Officers will patrol the area 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday, looking for drivers who show "signs of impaired driving," according to a Chicago Police news release.

Officers will also look for people who are speeding or not wearing their seat belts correctly.

The Gresham District is roughly bordered by 75th Street, Western Avenue, 87th and 95th streets and the Metra Electric line tracks.
