CHICAGO — A man and woman were stabbed during a Dropkick Murphys and Rancid concert at Northerly Island, police said.

At 9:28 p.m. Tuesday, the man and woman were inside a bar in the 1300 block of South Linn White Drive when they got into an argument with a man, police said. The argument spilled out into the venue, and the attacker took out a knife and stabbed the man and cut the woman.

The man, 29, was stabbed in his neck and face, and and the woman, 34, was cut in her abdomen, police said. They were taken to Northwestern Hospital, where their conditions were not available, but they were listed as "stable," police said.

A man was in custody, and charges were pending, police said. A knife was found at the scene.

One witness said the male victim had a gash near his neck and "was bleeding pretty bad."

"He went on to fight the other guy," the witness told ABC7. "It's disappointing there's a stabbing here at this good concert."

Dropkick Murphys and Rancid were performing at Northerly Island's Huntington Bank Pavilion.
