Uptown Shooting Wounds Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was shot in Uptown early Sunday, police said.

At 4:41 a.m., the man was in the 1200 block of West Leland Avenue when he was shot in his leg, police said.

The man took himself to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.

No further information was immediately available.
