CHICAGO — A 39-year-old man was shot to death in Englewood on Saturday night, police said.
At 10:40 p.m., the man was driving in the 300 block of West 57th Street when several people fired shots at him, police said. The man was hit and he crashed his car into a fence, where he was found by Chicago Police officers.
The man was shot multiple times in his torso and he was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.
Marvin Hines, of the 600 block of West 61st Street, was pronounced dead at 11:19 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
