CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was found shot to death in Washington Heights on Sunday, police said.
At 4:31 p.m. Sunday, the man was found unresponsive in a backyard in the 9800 block of South Peoria Street, police said. The man had been shot in his back and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was identified as Demetrius Miller, of the 8200 block of South Marshfield Avenue, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Miller was pronounced dead at 4:53 p.m.
No one was in custody.
