Police Looking For Driver Involved In Fatal West Side Hit-And-Run

CHICAGO — Police are looking for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 42-year-old man in Garfield Park Friday morning, police said.

At 3:30 a.m. Friday, the man was in the 3500 block of West Congress Parkway when a car hit him, police said. The driver left the scene.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police released a photo of the car, possibly a BMW 325 or 330, that has damage to the left and front sides.

The vehicle was seen traveling west on Congress Parkway from St. Louis Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 312-745-4521.
