Chicago Lawn Shooting Kills Eugene Winters, 18, Wounds Two Others

CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a Chicago Lawn shooting late Friday night, police said.

The three people were standing in the 2500 block of West Lithuanian Plaza Court around 10:50 p.m. Friday when shots were fired.

The 18-year-old man was shot in his head and pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

He was identified as Eugene Winters, of the same block, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

A 33-year-old woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition after being grazed in her head.

A 34-year-old man was shot in his left shoulder and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available. 

No one is in custody.
