Trenton Cornell-Duranleau, 26, Found Stabbed To Death In River North

UPDATE: NORTHWESTERN PROFESSOR WANTED FOR MURDER IN RIVER NORTH STABBING

CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was found dead in River North on Thursday night, police said.

At 8:30 p.m., the man was found unresponsive inside an apartment in the 500 block of North State Street, police said. The man had lacerations to his body and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was identified as Trenton James Cornell-Duranleau, of the 2200 block of South Wood, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Cornell-Duranheau was pronounced dead at 9:05 p.m., and an autopsy showed he died from multiple sharp force injuries in a homicide.

The man's death was being investigated as a homicide, police said.
