PULLMAN — Ald. Carrie Austin (34th) will host a back to school giveaway from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.
She's supplying school supplies for up to 1,000 students in the area. The event will take place at the Universal Entertainment Center, 11901 S. Loomis St..
The free community event is for all ages. There will be access to immunizations, free lunch, games, rides, music, petting zoo, job resources and more. It's a collaborative effort between Lemuel Austin Youth Foundation and Phalanx Family Services.
