Burglar Strikes Beverly Apartments Near Metra In The Daytime, Police Say

BEVERLY — A burglar has struck three apartment buildings this month near the Metra train tracks in Beverly, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The burglar enters the apartments by breaking a rear window in the daytime, while residents are at work, and steals various items, police said.

The community alert issued by police in the Morgan Park District said burglaries occurred:

• July 3-5 in the 10600 block of South Hale Avenue

• July 7 in the 10300 block of South Walden Parkway

• July 19 in the 10400 block of South Hale Avenue

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8273.
