CHICAGO — The weather should be mostly clear for this week's Crosstown Classic — but watch out for a chance of rain during Thursday's game.

The Cubs and White Sox will face each other during the annual series, which runs Monday through Thursday.

"Tuesday looks to be the nicest day. Humidity is [going to] be low," said AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Walker said. Then again, he said, Wednesday will be sunny and "still pretty nice."

Here's what to expect:

Monday

The game starts at 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field. The afternoon will be cloudy with some sun, Walker said, and temperatures are expected to hit 75 degrees but be cooler along the lakefront.

After the game, temperatures will drop to 65 degrees and the evening will be partly cloudy, Walker said.

Tuesday

The games starts 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field. The afternoon could see temperatures hit up to 80 degrees. Humidity will be low, it'll be sunny out and it will a "pretty nice day," Walker said.

After the game, temperatures will drop to 64-68 degrees and the skies will be partly cloudy, Walker said.

Wednesday

The game starts 7:10 p.m. at Guaranteed Rate Field. The evening should be sunny to partly cloudy, Walker said, and it'll feel more humid than on Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to hit 88 degrees on Wednesday, and they won't be much cooler for the evening game, falling to about 84 degrees, Walker said.

Thursday

The game starts 7:10 p.m. at Guaranteed Rate Field. Rain or thunderstorms could hit during the game, Walker said, and there will be clouds in the sky.

The day should hit 83 degrees, but how warm it'll be during the game depends on the rain: If there's a storm, temperatures could fall to the lower 70s; if the skies stay clear, expect temperatures in the upper 70s, Walker said.
