CHICAGO — The Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series comes to Dunning on Tuesday with a free screening of the 1993 comedy classic "Mrs. Doubtfire" in Shabbona Park, 6935 W. Addison St.
In one of the late Robin Williams' most famous roles, the actor portrays a divorced TV host who cross-dresses as a Scottish nurse in a scheme to spend more time with his kids.
Underwritten by Ald. Gilbert Villegas (36th) and Ald. Nicholas Sposato (38th), the screening is set to begin at 8:30 p.m.
Movies in the Parks will return to the Northwest Side on Friday with a screening of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in Irving Park, 3546 W. Addison St.
