CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in North Lawndale on Thursday night, police said.
At 9:05 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2000 block of South Pulaski Road when someone walked up to him and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his neck and back, police said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was identified as Jaron Jackson, of the 1400 block of South Karlov, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Jackson was pronounced dead at 9:25 p.m.
No one was in custody.
