Englewood Fire Burns Woman Who Jumped From 1st Floor

CHICAGO — A woman was burned in a fire in Englewood on Thursday morning, officials said.

The fire happened in the 6800 block of South Sangamon Street, according to a tweet from the Chicago Fire Department. A woman jumped from the first floor of the building.

The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with burns, the department said.
