UPTOWN — Experts will be helping folks sign up for Divvy for Everyone and explaining the biking assets of Uptown's coast Wat ednesday's Out And About Uptown event.
Cycling Uptown will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. at the ICA GreenRise building, 4750 N. Sheridan Road. It will include bike safety lessons, Divvy demonstrations and plans for the separation of the Lakefront Trail, according to a press release for the event.
Chicago residents who are 16 and older and earn less than $35,310 a year can also sign up for the Divvy for Everyone program, which allows people a yearly Divvy membership for $5.
The event will be followed by a walk along U.S. Bike Route 37 to the Lakefront Trail.
