CHICAGO — A 70-year-old man was shot and killed in Park Manor on Tuesday night, police said.
At 8:20 p.m., the man was walking in the 7100 block of South State Street when he heard shots, police said.
The man was hit in his chest and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. He later was pronounced dead.
The man was identified as Leroy Moore of the 2100 block of East 98th Street in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. He was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m.
No one was in custody.
