CHICAGO — The Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series lands in Portage Park, 4100 N. Long Ave., with a free screening of "Finding Dory" on Thursday evening.

The 2016 animated film is the sequel to the 2003 Pixar classic "Finding Nemo," following a forgetful blue tang fish — voiced by Ellen Degeneres — who sets out on an undersea journey to find her parents.

Underwritten by the Portage Park Advisory Council, the screening is set for 8:30 p.m. Thursday, just after dusk.

Movies in the Parks will return to the Northwest Side with a screening of the 1993 Robin Williams comedy "Mrs. Doubtfire" in Shabbona Park, 6935 W. Addison St., in Dunning on July 25.
