CHICAGO — Experts on aging will offer strategies for maintaining memory and concentration at a free workshop at Norwood Crossing, 6016 N. Nina Ave., at 2 p.m. Wednesday, organizers announced.

Senior Helpers Lincolnwood owner Michael Turner will join a clinical dietician to discuss "keys to maintaining a healthy brain" after retirement, according to an event description.

Topics covered will include "improving memory and concentration, the contribution of foods to good brain health, breakthroughs in brain research and its personal impact, and how exercise and social interaction can improve longevity."

The talk will be followed by "light refreshments and a raffle," organizers said.
