BEVERLY — The Chicago Public Library's Beverly branch will host a program called "Meet The Monkey King!" from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The program at 1962 W. 95th St. will be held in partnership with the Chicago Chinese Cultural Institute and will discuss the most beloved and talked about superhero in China — the Monkey King.

The king is a key character in the Chinese classic "Journey to the West". Children will have an opportunity to learn about this bit of folklore and then experience making some water color art with a Monkey King theme.

This program is for children ages 7-14. Advance registration is required and space is limited. For more information call 312-747-9673.
