CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot to death in a drive-by in Ashburn on Thursday night, police said.
At 7:45 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of West 83rd Street when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots at the man, police said.
The man was hit in his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man was identified as Terbord Williams, of the 8100 block of South Talman Avenue, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. He was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m.
No one was in custody.
