MORGAN PARK — "The Skinny and Houli Show" will record its weekly broadcast at 6 p.m. July 25 at Smith Village, a retirement community at 2320 W. 113th Place in Morgan Park.

Smith Village sponsors the weekly radio show that includes live guests, music and news about the Irish-American community in Chicago and beyond. The show is broadcast weekly from 3-4 p.m. Saturdays on WCEV 1450-AM.

The show hosted by James “Skinny” Sheahan and Mike “Houli” Houlihan is in its eighth year. The South Side natives typically record their show on Wednesday evenings at Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub in Streeterville.

Musician and South Sider Liam Durkin will perform several of his rebel songs of Ireland for the taping. Attending the taping is free and all are invited.
