WICKER PARK —  Happy (humid and stormy) Wednesday.

Here are a few things to do today in the Wicker Park and Bucktown area.

Play Bingo, Support Local Gardens. The grand prize at this weekly family-friendly summer fundraiser is a giant bag of organic produce — and all profits from sales of bingo cards go to supporting community gardens. This week's Veggie Bingo at The Hideout will also offer beef and vegetarian hot dogs for dinner. From 5:30 - 8 p.m., 1354 W. Wabansia Ave.

Weigh In On Traffic Changes Coming To Wicker Park. Plans to make a stretch of Milwaukee Avenue that includes the busy six-way hub at Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues safer for cyclists, pedestrians and drivers will be presented at the Chicago Department of Transportation's public meeting, from 5:30-8 p.m. in the auditorium of A.N. Pritzker School, 2009 W. Schiller St.

Eat The Fruits Of The Bloomingdale Trail. Shaved ice cups using serviceberries picked from trees along The 606 will make a return for only one day — Wednesday —  at Miko's Ice. The "Berries for Bloomingdale" event will sell the ice, which costs $3 for a small cup, at locations in Logan Square, 2236 N. Sacramento Ave., and Bucktown, 1846 N. Damen Ave., from noon- 10 p.m., while supplies last.

Celebrate "National Michelada Day." Last year we went all out to tell you how to make a michelada and where to enjoy the spicy concoction. If you've got a craving for the beer-based cocktail made with tomato, lime and spices, served over ice and with a salted rim, we suggest the $5 michelada at Big Star, 1531 N. Damen Ave., or the $7 michelada at Cabana Club, 1616 N. Milwaukee Ave.
