RIVER NORTH — Former Bulls star Jimmy Butler has listed his River North mansion for $5 million after getting traded to Minnesota — and it's a shoe lover's dream.
The six-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot house on Huron Street is an "entertainer's dream" with a 750-bottle wine cellar, three outdoor spaces, including a large rooftop deck, and a full finished basement, according to the listing.
There's also a massive walk-in closet full of new sneakers, which Butler will presumably be taking with him. Butler, 27, is signed to the Jordan Brand and once told Complex magazine that he wears sneakers almost everywhere, even when the Bulls visited President Barack Obama at the White House in 2015.
The only exception? He likes to wear moccasins at home.
"I've got some moccasins I have in house, true story," he told Complex. "The little brown ones that you slide your feet in. Got some of those. But other than that, it's really all Jordan. I rep that brand. I don't wear too many Nikes. That's it. I'm a Jordan guy, head to toe ... unless I got on moccasins."
His Chicago home also has a three-car attached garage, custom central staircase and an elevator that can take you up through the home's four floors.
Cook County records show Butler, who was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves late last month after making All-NBA and All-Star teams with the Bulls, paid $4.3 million through a trust for the home in September 2015.
Butler installed a massive boombox-shaped aquarium in the house, and the fish tank was once featured on Animal Planet's "Tanked" show.
It's unclear if the aquarium is included with the listing. Colin Hebson, who's handling the sale for Dream Town Realty, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
Records show the home is on the hook for more than $85,000 in property taxes this year. Crain's Chicago Business first reported news of the listing Monday. Click the slideshow above or scroll down below for more looks at Butler's house:
