LINCOLN PARK — Lincoln Park's alderman got married this week — appropriately enough, in Lincoln Park.

Ald. Michele Smith (43rd) married Leigh Weber Sunday at the J. Parker on the rooftop of the Hotel Lincoln, 1816 N. Clark St., in an afternoon ceremony.

Smith, who's lived in Lincoln Park since 1979, won election in 2011 and was re-elected in 2015.

Weber is a computer security expert who works at Cybersecurity Analysis Ltd.

Smith was cheered in advance by her City Council colleagues at last week's meeting, led by 14th Ward Ald. Edward Burke, who said, "Long may they live and long may they love."
