CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was killed in Auburn Gresham on Thursday, police said.
At 11:02 a.m., the man was sitting in a car in the 8500 block of South Justine Street when a black SUV drove up and someone inside fired shots, hitting the man several times, police said.
The man was identified as William D. Moore, of the 9500 block of South Avalon, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. He was pronounced dead at 11:16 p.m.
The officers were called to the scene and found the man, who was dead, police said.
No one was in custody.
