DOWNTOWN — Drivers should plan for delays during a ramp closure on the Stevenson overnight Saturday.
The ramp from the inbound Stevenson Expressway to northbound Lake Shore Drive will be closed 11 p.m. Saturday-7 a.m. Sunday, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The ramp is being closed for ongoing reconstruction of the interchange.
A detour will take Stevenson drivers to southbound Lake Shore Drive, and they'll be able to exit at 31st Street and get onto northbound Lake Shore Drive.
Drivers should expect delays and plan for their trips to take extra time, according to IDOT.
