WICKER PARK —  Former Nickelodeon star and Chicago native Kel Mitchell will host a Totally '90s-themed bar crawl this Saturday in Wicker Park.

Mitchell, made famous by his '90s roles on the Nickelodeon kids variety show "All That" — which led to his leading roles in the spinoff show "Kenan & Kel" and feature film “Good Burger” — is slated to host the festivities, which will run from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and include stops at 11 bars.

Participants are expected to don their best '90s-themed outfits or dress as their favorite '90s character, according to announcements promoting the bar crawl.

Similar to a scavenger hunt, Totally '90s bar crawlers will be challenged to visit each of the 11 participating bars. Anyone who hits every stop on the list before the crawl ends at 9 p.m. get a Totally '90s T-shirt for their efforts.

Although all participants must be at least 21, drinking is optional during the event, said event organizer Peter Altholz.

“We’re going to bring it back to the days when TRL ruled MTV and Backstreet Boys were No. 1," Altholtz said. "It’s a fun event for the neighborhood, and lets a lot of 20- and 30-somethings relive the nostalgia with one of their favorite '90s TV stars."

Tickets start at $29.99 but will go up to $40 on the day of the bar crawl, according to the event website, which also offers a $49.99 VIP option that includes appetizers and a rooftop party with Mitchell from noon  to 2 p.m. on the rooftop of Whiskey Business.

Same-day registration for crawl participants is open from 2 p.m. to  4 p.m. at Emporium Arcade Bar, 1366 N Milwaukee Ave.
