WICKER PARK — If you are looking for a way to cool off, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Wicker Park will offer free soft-serve Japanese Matcha green tea ice cream cones to patrons when it’s 80 degrees or hotter this summer, the restaurant announced Tuesday.

The free ice cream, which normally costs $4, will be available now through Aug. 1 to guests who order anything else on the expansive menu, which includes steaming bowls of soup, chicken wings, edamame and more.

Along with the ice cream, the restaurant at 1482 N. Milwaukee Ave. recently introduced new food and drink items available through Sept. 1, including Shochu sake infused gummy bears ($6) and Sangria popsicles ($9). Alcohol-free popsicles are also available for $4.

Rotating weekly, the popsicle flavors include the Mega Kuwaii (fresh strawberry, Shochu and lime), pomegranate (pomegranate, cranberry, sake, pinot noir), apple pineapple (pineapple, apple, pinot grigio, Shochu), and cucumber (sake infusion cucumber, ginger beer, Shochu).

Kiziki is also offering an izakaya combo summer special designed for sharing, featuring a pitcher of Sapporo beer, Chicken Karaage (fried chicken), wings, Aji fish tempura and edamame for $24.99.
