CHICAGO — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Midway airport Sunday night, police said.
At 10 p.m., the 29-year-old man was driving a Ducati motorcycle in the 5000 block of West 55th Street when he rear-ended a GMC Acadia that was turning out of a parking lot, police said.
The man was thrown off the motorcycle and fell onto the opposite lanes of traffic, where someone driving a Jeep Wrangler ran him over, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other injuries were reported.
An investigation was ongoing.
