Multiple Burglaries Reported In Archer Heights, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police are warning Archer Heights residents about a series of burglaries reported this month.

In each case, someone broke in through a rear window or door and stole property, police said.

The burglaries occurred:

• June 6 at 1 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Tripp Avenue

• June 6 at 1:57 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Tripp Avenue

• June 11 at 11:07 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Kildare Avenue

The burglar is described as a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and between 160-175 pounds.

Police urge residents to keep doors and windows locked and to fix any broken windows, doors or locks.

Police asked anyone with information about the break-ins to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
