CHICAGO — A West Side woman was fatally shot while standing on the street near Ohio Street Beach early Sunday, police said.
About 5 a.m., the woman was standing with an acquaintance in the 500 block of East Ohio Street when someone shot her in her head, police said.
She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
She has been identified as Raven Lemons, 25, of the 1500 block of South Avers Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
