CHICAGO — A 24-year-old woman was stabbed in Austin early Sunday, police said.
At 1:40 a.m., the woman was in the 4900 block of West Jackson Boulevard when she was stabbed in her neck and back, police said. The woman was taken to Loretto Hospital and later transferred to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
The woman was uncooperative with investigators, a police source said, and the circumstances of the stabbing were unknown.
No one was in custody.
