Humboldt Park Shooting Wounds 3 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — Three men were wounded in a shooting in Humboldt Park on Thursday night, police said.

At 10:30 p.m., the men were standing on the corner in the 900 block of North Homan Avenue when several people walked up to them and fired shots, police said.

One man, 27, was hit in his right leg and was at Mount Sinai Hospital. Two men were at Stroger Hospital: a 24-year-old man who was hit in his back and a 34-year-old man who was hit in his groin. Conditions for the three were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

The men were documented gang members, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
