CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was critically wounded in a car crash in Logan Square on Wednesday night, police said.
At 9:15 p.m., the man was speeding in the 2600 block of West Logan Boulevard when he lost control of his car and crossed into oncoming traffic, police said. The man sideswiped a Mazda and then hit a tree.
The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, police said. No one else was reported injured.
An investigation was ongoing.
