WRIGLEYVILLE — Houndstooth Saloon turning 11, and they're celebrating with their patrons _ and slinging 11-cent Smirnoff cocktails and $1.11 Bell's Brewery drafts on Saturday night to commemorate the occasion.

Since 2006, Houndstooth Saloon has offered a Southern-influenced American menu, a selection of 20 draft beers and a signature cocktail list including their own Dixie-inspired drink, the Houndstooth Hunch Punch.

The country bar's name was inspired by the University of Alabama's football coach, Paul William "Bear" Bryant, and his trademark houndstooth-print fedora. The bar's interior is also on-theme, with an Alabama crimson color scheme, checkered wallpaper, deer-antler chandeliers and framed photos of Bryant.

Houndsooth Saloon brings country vibes to Wrigleyville each week, hosting live events like Country Music Night on Thursdays and Sunday Country Funday, with DJs spinning country sets all day.

The 11th anniversary party kicks off at 6 p.m. June 17, with a live country performance by Morgan Station until 9 p.m. followed by DJs spinning country and southern rock until 3 a.m.

The 11-cent Smirnoff cocktails and $1.11 Belle's brewery drafts will be available from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The regular Saturday specials, including $5 bomb shots, will also be available all night.
