Restaurant Burglaries In Bridgeport, Armour Square Prompt Police Warning

CHICAGO — Police are alerting business owners and residents in Bridgeport and Armour Square to be alert after a couple of reported restaurant burglaries.

In the incidents, burglars broke in and took money from the establishment.

The incidents occurred:

• Between 8-10 a.m. Wednesday-Thursday in the 600 block of West 31st Street

• Between 1-4:30 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West 26th Street

Police are asking business owners to keep the perimeters of their property well lit, keep windows and doors secured and to make a copy and save any video surveillance if available. 

Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
