CHICAGO — A 15-year-old girl was shot and wounded in Auburn Gresham on Saturday night, police said.
At 8:38 p.m., the girl was in an alley in the 7700 block of South Throop Street when she heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The girl was hit in her right ankle and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
