BEVERLY — Family Fun Nights will return Thursday at 103rd Street and Walden Parkway in Beverly.

The free family festivals run from 5:30-7 p.m. every Thursday throughout June in the Beverly Bank parking lot near the 103rd Street Metra depot.

The outdoor gatherings include music, food and various themed attractions at 1908 W. 103rd St. The festivals are held weather permitting, according to Margot Holland, executive director of the Beverly Area Planning Association.

Scheduled events include:

• Thursday: Miss Jamie’s Farm will hold a Rootin’ Tootin’ Hoedown that will include songs and activities sure to appeal to "all her barnyard buddies." Jamie has been performing at Chicago-area parties since 2013 and is a favorite among kids and their parents, according to the neighborhood group.

• June 15: Beverly Records' DJ John will pump out music for a dance party.

• June 22: Storybox Improv Theater will perform an improv show with story ideas from the crowd.

• June 29: Summer Kick-Off Party will be held as an overall celebration of the season.

Each week Little Company of Mary Hospital will have giveaways for kids. Pedalheads will offer tips on bike safety and Calabria Imports will be selling food and beverages from its new food truck.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs for lounging. For more information, call the association at 773-233-3100 or email mholland@bapa.org.
