CHICAGO — Quinton Flowers, 19, was shot dead in Austin on Saturday.
At 1:06 p.m., he was outside in the 5400 block of West Cortez Street when someone walked up and fired shots at him, police said.
Flowers, of the same block where he was shot, was hit multiple times in his chest and throughout his body and was pronounced dead at 7:42 p.m. at Loyola University Medical Center, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody for the shooting.
