CHICAGO — Jamal Webb, 23, died after being shot multiple times in Park Manor Friday afternoon, officials said.
The incident occurred in the 7800 block of South Champlain Avenue at 1:45 p.m. when a person with a gun got out of a dark-colored sedan and walked up to the man before shooting him.
Webb, of the 7800 block of South Langley, was pronounced dead at 2 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one is in custody.
