WRIGLEYVILLE — Neighbors near the new Park at Wrigley outside the ballpark will have a chance to get in shape this summer with free classes.
The plaza will host boot camp, yoga, pilates and a weekly running club from June 12 through the end of August.
Local fitness group Shred415 will lead a running club that will convene on the plaza at 6 p.m. Mondays, excluding game days. Runners can meet at the south edge of the park.

Boot camp-style training will take place on Wednesdays starting June 14. Trainers from CrossTown Fitness and certified personal trainer Kate Lemere will lead the 7 a.m. high-intensity interval training.
Pilates and yoga sessions will be offered through Mind Fuel Wellness and Bloom Yoga Studio, which is based in Lincoln Square. The two will host alternating sessions at 7 a.m. Thursdays starting with Mind Fuel's first class June 15.
The fitness series joins a booming schedule of events on the triangle-shaped plaza outside Wrigley Field.

A weekly farmers market begins June 15, with Green City Market set to bring chef demonstrations and local food vendors.
Old Town School of Folk Music offers free music sessions for children starting June 13, and movies at the park begin June 14 with "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
The long-awaited plaza debuted in April at the start of the 2017 Cubs season.
The Cubs and Wrigley Field are 95 percent owned by an entity controlled by a trust established for the benefit of the family of Joe Ricketts, owner and CEO of DNAinfo.com. Joe Ricketts has no direct involvement in the management of the iconic team.
