CHICAGO — Cook County Board president Toni Preckwinkle will give a public address and answer questions during a "State of the County" breakfast at Eden United Church of Christ, 5051 W. Gunnison St., on Thursday, organizers announced.
Preckwinkle and her staff will give "short presentations on various programs and initiatives" being carried out on the county level, according to the announcement. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
The event is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Attendees are asked to RSVP by emailing Aldophus Kindle at Adolphus@gmail.com or calling the Rev. Leslie Sanders at 773-459-7300.
